Federal Revenue seizes parts and cigarettes at Friendship Bridge

The Federal Revenue of Brazil seized 1,352 car retainers in a FIAT vehicle during inspections held yesterday (01/22), at the Customs Office of the International Bridge of Friendship (between Paraguay and Brazil), in Foz do Iguaçu/PR. They were hidden under the mats and inside the engine compartment.

Soon after the RFB officers seized another car registered in Paraguay for transporting 2,000 cigarette packs.

The merchandise and the vehicles were sent to the car park at the RFB Office in Foz do Iguaçu.

The RFB Office also discovered that one of the vehicles seized last weekend transported US$ 49,153 in merchandise, including digital cameras, notebooks, storage drives and MP7s.
