The Federal Revenue of Brazil apprehends luxury cars in Minas Gerais

The Federal Revenue of Brazil apprehended two Ferrari Testarossas in irregular situation in the capital city, Belo Horizonte. The first vehicle was retained on July 28th and the second one on August 10th. Both have the same license plate and an estimated value of R$ 300 thousand. The Ferraris entered into the country irregularly, and will be auctioned after the confiscation penalty imposition. The cars were located after an investigation carried out by the Secretariat of the Federal Revenue of Brazil in Minas Gerais, coordinated by the Enforcement Division.

The Federal Revenue of Brazil has intensified inspection regarding the irregular entrance into the country of land, air and sea automotive vehicles. At the beginning of the year it had already apprehended a Robinson helicopter purchased in the United States. The intelligence works have been essential for those vehicles location, which even after entrance in the country continue subject to proof of their regular import.
