Federal Revenue seizes 42,000 bottles of beverages in Ponta Grossa

The Secretariat of the Federal Revenue of Brazil seized 42,000 bottles of beverages worth about R$ 210,000 in Ponta Grossa/PR. In the operation launched on Monday (09/22) by the Federal Revenue Office, the target was the retail commerce indicated by tax receipts supplied by wholesale distributors.

The operation had a great impact in the region, and it is expected to spread to other locations in the Country, since great supermarket chains of national and international projection are among the booked parties.

The Federal Revenue also seized four tour buses coming from Foz do Iguaçu yesterday (09/23), in Santa Terezinha de Itaipu/PR. The buses were loaded with shopping and clothing items, toys and a great quantity of electronic gadgets.

The buses and merchandise were sealed and sent to the Office of the Federal Revenue of Brazil in Foz do Iguaçu.
